With a background in anthropology and several years experience working in museums and the wider heritage sector, my work focusses on people-centred heritage practices. When working in the UK, I created collaborative relationships with local communities and developed projects and programmes as part of this at museums including the British Museum and the Museum of the Home. Currently based in the Netherlands, I have continued my work as a consultant supporting heritage organisations in the areas of community engagement and participation. A collaborative, inclusive and reflective approach is at the heart of my practice. As well as leading participatory projects and workshops, planning and giving training or doing practice-based research, you can also find me reading, writing or editing a paper.
