about me

With a background in anthropology and several years experience working in museums, I am passionate about bringing people and museums together. I have created collaborative relationships with local communities and developed projects and programmes as part of this at the British Museum, Museum of the Home and Museum of London. Since moving to the Netherlands, I have continued to work as a consultant supporting museums in the areas of access and participation. Collaboration and inclusion are at the heart of my practice. I also like to reflect upon practice, stay in touch with developments in research and theoretical debates, and participate in practice-based research. So as well as leading projects or giving workshops, you are just as likely to find me reading or writing a paper, at the reading group I organise for other professionals in the sector or editing Culture Caleidoscoop.
